The HMD12C Marine Engine Series is engineered to deliver dependable, high-output power for demanding marine propulsion applications. Featuring a six-cylinder, inline, water-cooled, four-stroke, direct-injection diesel configuration, the engine combines a robust design with turbocharged and intercooled intake technology to support efficient combustion and consistent performance in marine operating environments.

With an 11.596-litre displacement and rated power options of 265 kW, 295 kW, and 301 kW, the HMD12C series accommodates different propulsion requirements at rated speeds of 1,500, 1,800, and 2,000 rpm, respectively. Its four-valve-per-cylinder configuration, dry cylinder liners, and 17:1 compression ratio support reliable engine operation, while the electric starting system provides convenient starting. The engine also features a specified fuel consumption range of 215–220 g/kWh across its three rated operating points.
